Mohamed A. El-Erian, Sept 16, reprints a couple of charts from The Economist. It doesn't show a big rise yuan cross-border inbound payments over the last few years, but the trend seems up.
The accompanying chart shows a big increase in the last few years of overseas yuan loans, nearly fifty percent of the total.
